There are coders, there are artists, and then again there are people who just can't decide. Also, insomniacs. I'm part of the last two.
Front-end developer, designer, concept artist & illustrator, music aficionado, occasional self-proclaimed chef and a general nut for colours. Originally from Romania, the land of vampires, Dracula and other such myths, I now live in the quiet town of Rugby, UK, where I sip tea every couple of minutes and judge people on the Internet when I get the chance for it.
I enjoy making things... tick. Perhaps part of my dual nature, I often feel that programming is not complete without giving it even the slightest touch of life. That can range from alignment and indenting, hacking my own Sublime themes, adding a splash of colour where there was none before or simply interacting with the user via subtle animations.
As an artist, the opposite also holds true: there is never a time when things can just exist. Everything needs to make sense, and understanding the underlying structure of a mechanism, be it the human body or an actual mechanical device, can only enhance the plausibility of said concept.
It's this pleasant mixture of problem solving and letting my creativity flow that has made its place into my heart. It's what makes me tick.
